Pilates is a mind-body exercise technique developed by Joseph Pilates that focuses on core stability, alignment, posture, flexibility, coordination, endurance and breathing. Pilates aims to utilise the deep stabilising muscles of the spine which are essential in the management of low back pain.
Semi-private sessions have a maximum of 4 people in the studio. Each person has an individual program designed by a physiotherapist to address specific injury/rehabilitation needs.
Studio sessions involve the use of specifically designed Pilates equipment.
