Pilates

Pilates is a mind-body exercise technique developed by Joseph Pilates that focuses on core stability, alignment, posture, flexibility, coordination, endurance and breathing. Pilates aims to utilise the deep stabilising muscles of the spine which are essential in the management of low back pain.

Semi-private sessions have a maximum of 4 people in the studio. Each person has an individual program designed by a physiotherapist to address specific injury/rehabilitation needs.

Studio sessions involve the use of specifically designed Pilates equipment.

Initial Assessment

All potential clients undergo an initial assessment by a physiotherapist to develop a personalised exercise plan and determine any potential risks before beginning semi private sessions.

A Private health fund rebate may be available for Pilates sessions. please check with receptionist at time of enquiry.

Initial Pilates Consultation – $100 for 1hr assessment
Semi private studio session – $45 (block purchase) or $50 casual
